Lucca - Places to visit

Picture
Lucca is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany. Well-connected by train and road, it's a short journey to Pisa and its iconic leaning Tower, as well as the vibrant art and history of Florence.

The scenic Versilia coast, with beach towns like Lido di Camaiore, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, is also within easy reach, perfect for some time by the sea.

Many other interesting and beautiful places to visit in and around the Lucca area include the towns of Barga and Pietrasanta, or Fantiscritti, where some scenes from the Bond film "Quantum of Solace" were filmed. You could also visit t
he Cinque Terre where you can take a boat trip along the coast from where you can see 5 little towns tucked into the coastline, some of which only accessible by sea.
We hope you enjoy!
