We pride ourselves in finding all the places that local Italians would go avoiding the tourist traps! Here is a short list of some of our favourites, but a full list will be given if you decide to take part in a TTH adventure!
We would recommend eating outside the city walls to avoid the more touristy options. All the suggestions below are within a short drive of the tennis club in beautiful Tuscan settings.

Nicola, the owner, speaks perfect English & the menu is also in English). "Gnocchi a lo maniero di baffo" is a must! And desserts are the chef's speciality! With the use of their own organic produce Lo Scompiglio has one of the most imaginative menus in the area. Excellent food and the staff have a good knowledge of wines to suit.... Lunch - Wednesday to Sunday 12.00 - 14.30 Dinner - Thursday to Sunday 19.30 - 22.30 Tel No: 338 6118730 La Cecca A very traditional family run restaurant serving wonderful Lucca dishes at very reasonable prices. The cooking is f=dine in the simplest possible way. For non-fish lovers, a small selection of meat is provided, with typical Tuscan dishes of the tradition. Excellent! Via Nuova per Pisa Traversa I Tel No: 0583379319 Bar La Perla One of the most popular bar/pasticcerias in the entire Lucca area and very close to the tennis club. Many of our clients use it every day for breakfast and also in the afternoons/evenings for great ice creams, coffees, drinks and snacks.
