The Cinque Terre, is the name given to the five colourful, picturesque little towns tucked into the cliffs along the coast: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, with each town having its own unique charm.
Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is a stunning coastal in the region of Liguria, known for its breathtaking views, terraced vineyards and rugged hiking trails.
These little towns are best seen by taking a boat from the nearby port of Lerici and sailing along the coast, with an hour free to wander around the last town of Monterosso, before joining the boat for the return sail.
