Since 1998 in the month of July this music festival has hosted many national and international bands and singers including Bob Dylan, James Brown, Ray Charles and Elton John.
Considering that Lucca is not the best known town in Tuscany (but is beautiful!), it's amazing the quality and fame of the many acts it attracts. I always remember clients who were staying near the centre of Lucca arriving at tennis in the morning claiming to have heard the best Oasis tribute band ever, and then being surprised to hear it was actually the real thing!
Perhaps one of the most intimate venues in Italy with the concerts set in the beautiful square of Piazza Napoleone (who at one time ruled Lucca).
I was lucky enough to see both James Brown and Pink there which was an amzing surreal experience in such a classic Tuscan venue. I can only imagine that these world famous performers love Lucca as much as I do?

Why not combine a concert with some tennis?
