Florence AccomodationOur accommodation includes a great choice including self catering apartments ( La Capperaia) in the local town of Bagno a Ripoli and a modern hotel (Together Florence Inn). The advantage of these are their proximity to the tennis club, a cheaper option and walking distance to restaurants, bars etc.
For those preferring a classic Florence experience and only a short drive away we also have Il Palagetto which is a lovely self catering accommodation with a spectacular view of the Duomo and a lovely pool.( only a 5 minute drive away) The lovely Relais Il Sasso is slightly further away but great value for money being a 4 star posh Tuscan B & B - more like a 5 star! The fabulous Torre a Cona can be reached by a classic Tuscan drive of 15 minutes and is set in a Chianti wine estate owned by the Martini Rossi family! Here you have the option of the highest level of Agriturismo or 5 star rooms and suites recently renovated in the old part of the 18th century Villa. ![]() Torre a Cona, nestling in the Chianti hills offers the possibility to choose between different rural houses and apartments adjacent to the magnificent eighteenth-century villa and surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan landscape.
Now the estate boasts typical Tuscan rooms which occupy the west wing of the eighteenth-century villa and annexe. The estate produces award winning fine wines and exquisite extra virgin olive oil. Visit the historic cellars to delve into the Estate's history before tasting the excellent produce on one of the wine tours. You can stay in an independent apartment in these various estate buildings. Completely renovated and furnished with charm, each apartment is equipped with every comfort you will need for your holiday in Tuscany. All have a dedicated outside garden space equipped with a gazebo, chairs, and BBQ/grill. The stylish swimming pool is set inside an old water mill, with views of the vineyards and Chianti hills, and is open from June to late September. The estate also boasts a new restaurant, Osteria Torre a Cona, which serves traditional Tuscan food prepared with seasonal, local ingredients. From June to September, lunch and dinner are served in the outdoor seating area, covered by wisteria and surrounded by aged holm oak trees. During the winter, the guests can experience their cuisine in the centuries-old Limonaia, a building originally used for storing lemon plants in the winter months. A truly classic Tuscan setting!
