Why Choose Sicily?

  • Great weather from April to November

  • Perhaps the best food in Italy

  • Some of the most exciting examples of Greek architecture in Europe

  • Fabulous accommodation with great value for money

  • Wonderful beaches and crystal clear waters

In Sicily we have two venues, one on each side of the island. Trapani on the west side is relatively unknown as far as tourism goes but has the advantage of direct flights with Ryanair from the UK. If you are interested in authentic Sicilian towns then this is the place for you.

Syracuse is also quite new on the tourist map and is a great location for visiting many important places such as Taormina and Noto. It is on the east side and can be accessed quite easily by using BA or Alitalia to Catania airport. Tourism has reached Syracuse but nowhere to the extent of Taormina.

The island has many new hotels, a vigorous food and wine scene spearheaded by a group of talented young chefs, sommeliers, and wine producers - a shift away from the traditional "safe" areas like Taormina towards more authentic, and as previouslty mentioned chaotic destinations including Trapani and Syracuse.
