Hotel Villa Marta

Ideally situated only 5 minutes from the Lucca tennis club and another 5 minutes to Lucca itself, this former hunting lodge has been transformed into a fine and elegant 4 star hotel. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly ambiance is a tribute to the way in which the owners, Andrea and Alessia, run this hotel and take care of their guests.

Throughout the year the owners organise special theme dinners to which all guests are welcome.

All rooms are individually designed and are equipped with the most modern amenities, including air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar and a hairdryer.

Classic Room

This type of room has an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV, mini-bar and WIFI connection.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe rooms have a check out time of 12 noon, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe, flat screen satellite TV, bathroom with a double basin and large shower, bathrobes and WIFI connection.

Breakfast

One of the highlights of Hotel Villa Marta is the extensive buffet breakfast which is served in the villa's garden in the summer, and in the winter in the comfortable and elegant breakfast room with its welcoming fire.

Swimming Pool

The beautiful swimming pool and surroundings have been tastefully designed where snacks and drinks are available pool-side.

Cookery Courses

The hotel also organises cookery courses allowing guests to appreciate the simple and distinctive style of typical Lucchese and Tuscan cuisine. An original way of enjoying the many flavours of Tuscany.

The cookery courses can be arranged for groups of two people or more dependent on the chef's availability.

The courses include a 3 hour lesson during which guests can learn how to cook a complete Tuscan menu from starter to dessert.

Courses are organised in the morning from 10am until 1pm and at the end guests can have lunch in the hotel eating the dishes they have prepared.

Drinks and recipe books are included.

Wine & Olive Oil Tasting

Hotel Villa Marta is very happy to organize wine and olive oil tasting during your stay. You can explore the comprehensive wine list, stocked with the best local DOC wine, including many wines from the Lucchese hills to Montecarlo, east of Lucca.

Truly an excellent restaurant within the Hotel Villa Marta, with the cuisine of a high standard, served by knowledgable staff.

In the warmer months dining outside in the garden is an excellent way to spend an evening in Tuscany.
